Radio Logo

So, a real old buddy of mine (known him since 1st grade...damn..) was looking for a graphics designer to design his logo for a radio station he co-hosts (I believe it's a college radio station, but I've never bothered to ask..because then I'd have to listen to it and it's all rap XD). Originally he wanted something else, which I may or may not post here, but he and his co-host decided to simplify it. He asked me to draw a really stoned eye XD so I did, and it was much more different than this. It looked weird in white tho so I got rid of all the detail (as he wanted) and while changing it to black I had forgotten to add the white in the eyes and this beauty formed. I quite like it.

Didn't get anything for this, but he put me on his radio station team as the graphic designer. O_o Which is awesome...but unexpected. XD So it's kind of like I have a internship lol.

CRITICS:
I'd like your thoughts on the design. Is it professional enough? Should I have done something different. Is it good as is? Any criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Name is copyrighted to "Inner Circle Radio" and so is this logo. It can not be used without permission of the station (in fact I probably will have to take it down eventually...) so you will be prosecuted if any part of this is stolen or edited in anyway (tracing/vectoring included).
